Carry on

Sammy naps with new brother Jaden

Sammy naps with new brother Jaden

Welcome to Jaden Michael, brother of Sammy and Mason. All are well except Mason has a cold.

So far this has been as close to a normal winter as we’ve had in a long time. Not much snow but the season is still young. First sub-zero degree day in several years, thunderstorms, sleet, and lots of rain have been the norm. Our electric bill is more than $200 for the first time ever.

Our government is still in shambles because of weak “liberals” and overly zealous tea-partiers. The voting people are too lethargic to try to do better. Amen

And When I Die was a popular song during my electrician apprenticeship.

  1. Three boys in family. It’s beautiful, my friend. 🙂
$200 for one month? Electricity heating? We use gas. It’s much cheaper but not so safe like electricity.
    Funny song!
    xo

    • I would use gas if it were available where I live.
      Thanks, Jola. 🙂

  2. And we in California are having the worst drought on record,
Southern California is drying up and libel to burn up if they don’t get some rain. We are surrounded by rivers and Redwoods and the Ocean, but could also suffer if it goes on.
But there is no such thing as globule warming !!
And you are right about the wimpy Liberals, wish they would get some backbone !
We are having a beautiful clear 65 degree day again !
We also have a Mason as a Great Grandchild.
Hope you are getting around better,
    Take care,
    Sandy

    • I have seen quite a bit about the drought in Calif. I worry about people but I also thing about the giant trees which must be stressed to the limit with so little water. Not many of them left.
      Thanks, Sandy 🙂

  3. Congrats. You will soon have your hands very full teaching three little ones. Then they go home at the end of the day. 🙂

I imagine January’s heating bill will be brutal for many of us.

Our government is a bad joke that breathes horror every day.

    • I look for electric bill to be nearly $300 for January.
      Thanks, Mark.
