‘Monday is the root of all evil’

Watauga River excursion

Didn’t do much this weekend other than edit a few old photos. Saturday and Sunday were both pretty days, especially yesterday.

I’ve started adding a few b/w photos to Facebook’s Black and White group via Megashot; some good work there.

Hope everyone had a meaningful Easter weekend. I celebrate spring each day of the year so Easter does not have a lot of significance for me.

Sammy is here and still feeling poorly.

Have a good Worshday!

  1. I haven’t realize the Watauga River is so good for canoeing. Lovely summer photo.
My gentle kiss for Sammy. 🙂
    xo

    • … realized, of course. English grammar! Ufff.

  2. Watauga is nice for lazy rafting and canoeing. Nolichucky River has some very good white water rapids that draw a lot of people.
Sammy sends you a slobbery kiss.
    Thanks, Jola.

  3. I’d like to be on the river right now. Looks quite relaxing and peaceful.

    • Watauga is nice now that it has been tamed by dams.
      Thanks, Mark.

  4. It is on my list of things to see.

    • Well get there. If you come through Boone when you come over here, you will drive by Watauga Lake.
      Thanks, Mark
