Uneasy weekend

Breaking in Warsaw's Old Town

I’ve been a bit under the weather the entire weekend. I didn’t make it to the Occupy, but I understand it was a success with between one-hundred and two-hundred marchers of very diversified backgrounds making the trek from E.T.S.U. to downtown JC. I was planning on being there, but got voted down by Sammy; he decided he wanted to go shopping for Halloween outfits therefore he went and I sat at home. Hope I can get some decent pics of him in his new duds.

Didn’t sleep well last night, so I stayed in bed until late this morning. I rode with Carolyn to clean the little bank, and then we went driving through the countryside and finally ended up in the mountains. I am guessing that next weekend will be best color for hills at around 4,000 ft. and the next weekend will be good at 3,000 ft. and lower. Hope the weather is good on next Saturday or Sunday.

Thanks to Jola for the fine ‘breaking’ photo. The kid’s attires are as interesting as the dance.

Have a great new week!

  1. Our little Sammy deserves the best. ๐Ÿ™‚
It’s nice looking at these dancing boys, however I’m not sure if their parents really know that the pedestrians give them some money for their show. But if they knew, they wouldn’t be glad of it, I think. School duties should be still the most important thing for these kids.
I’m happy you had a short trip yesterday.

    • I wouldn’t have a thing against my kids or grandkids accepting money for what they are doing. It is good, clean fun and quite entertaining. They deserve a bit of reward for their hard work. School IS most important, though.
      Thanks, Jola. ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Kids are kids, so yes, they deserve a bit of reward (I give them money too), but they shouldn’t make it too often, and their parents and teachers should know about these street performances.

      • Street dancing for a few coins is a much better way to get money than some others I can think of. Could be someone’s break into show business or the dance arts.
        Thanks, Jola. ๐Ÿ™‚
