Upon a star

The value of friendship is not in what is said or done, but the way we
feel about each other. Words and deeds have a certain intrinsic value,
but emotions can be fleeting and at the same time, profound. Friendship
is an emotion sandwiched inside a feeling of trust and comfort.
Am I missing something in my life … just what the hell is a Lady Gaga? No, don’t tell me; I need to keep a bit of my innocence.
Worsh day in East Tennessee is cloudy and cool.

When you wish upon a star … Make a wish, my friends.

  1. Is this you in the photo? It looks like a quiet peaceful moment. Good analogy of friendship. like all relationships respect is a big factor as well. Above all, it has to be real with no pretense and, yes, in the beginning of a new one there is a great bit of trust one must have.
Savannah is a nice city much like St. Augustine only on steroids! photos to come… have a lovely day my friend..

    • No, it wasn’t me but I used to fish from there. Yes, respect is the key to all human interactions; I wish world leaders could figure it out. I have never seen either of the cities, but I know people in Savannah. Thanks, Tammy.

  2. A song soothing our hearts, and the photo … I really love it. Oh, it should be on Flickr. πŸ™‚

    • There is a b/w version on Flickr, but I uploaded this one also. Thanks, Jola. πŸ™‚

  3. Nice friendship verse.

I’ll keep you in the dark about Lady Gaga and you will the better for it.

    • I bet the pimply-faced boys love her.
      Thanks, Mark.
