In the pink …

I spilled nearly a half-bottle–large size bottle–of cherry flavored Pepto-Bismol down the front of my shirt and pants yesterday. Yes, I am pretty in pink. However, I hate the taste of cherry flavored Pepto therefore I won’t miss it; regular taste is much more palatable.

Snow flurries expected again today but warming into the pleasants tomorrow.

Only one dark of the moon this month, so y’all plantin’ taters better get her done on the 23rd. Eyes up, please.

With the song above, it is said that Rick Nelson was hitting back at “friends and fans” whom had abandoned him when he didn’t perform as they expected.

Have a warm Worshday!

Sometimes it happens that we spill different fluids. Once I spilled a half glass of juice down my plate with cream and pancake. It happened in my vegetarian bar. I was embarrassed but first of all I had to clean my mess.
I don’t know Rick Nelson but he seems to be very American boy; handsome and sweet. :-)
BTW, Putin won the election. Did he really win? We call him in Poland as he was tzar: Wladimir III. ;-)
    Have a good week!

Ran into a little area of snow flurries this morning. Windy and cold today.

Putin is very troubling in my opinion.

    Good song by Mr. Nelson.

are you gald it didn’t come out your nose? That would have been so much worse!
radishes, purple string beans, cucumbers, tomatoes, sunflowers, lettuce, eggplant, and hemp seeds all up and growing strong. Mike installed a sprinkler system in the garden beds, made me a new garden bed and dug up a patch of the lot next door so I could have room to “grow.” Now all I have to do is keep the bugs at bay and don my best Daisy Duke cut-offs. the bugs will be the tough part. I’ve already found a hatching of cabbage worms. I’m spraying w/ Biological Insecticide “BTK” every day.

You are right about the nose running Pepto. It is hard to imagine having seeds up so early; hope they make for much happiness, especially the last ones you mentioned. Daisy Duke cutoffs should keep the NJ neighbors happy; the new car may gather some dust while they watch you. Do you have to use more BTK than you would chemical poisons? I’ve heard that natural stuff isn’t as strong as lab chemicals.
      Thanks, Tammy.

yes on the BTK question. It works but it has to be applied almost twice daily for maximum effect. I may supplement w/ homemade cayenne pepper spray and god knows what else to keep the bugs at bay. Mike has his trigger finger ready for the Seven dust but I will not allow it. We have a big wooden fence up between my yard and the NJ folks – I need my privacy and I don’t want their kids, pit bull or other yapping muts in my yard. There is a dog war going on in the neighborhood right now – a guy up the street (retired) acutally made a wooden box and posted it on the empty lot next to his house. He put a little light on it and filled the box with old plastic grocery store bags with a sign “please clean up after your dog.” So you can see where this is going. For once this neighborhood war doesn’t include me or my kids. ! I think the NJ people are sharpening their teeth for this poor unsuspecting man.

Squirrels get all snottified when I put pepper spray on Carolyn’s bulbs; they have little sense of humor.
My grandmother used Sevin dust; she put it in a cloth bag and shook it over the plants; liberally. Of course we didn’t know the long term effects of such poisons back then. When I was very small, we kept a supply of DDT, too.
Maybe the dog wars won’t get too far, but watch out for fallout at your house.
      Thanks, Tammy.
